Best Places to Work Remotely in Denver

Let’s be honest. Working from home is amazing and my preferred place to work most days. However, some days I need a change of scenery or I am traveling to a new city and want to explore new areas but still have to work. Well, I have compiled a list of my favorite places to work around Denver for you to try! I also included helpful information about the wifi, noise levels, favorite things I had there, and if dogs are welcome. Happy remote working!

  • Wifi is ranked out of 3 stars . 1 being the lowest and 3 being super fast and reliable.

  • Noise levels are based on the ability to take a Zoom call and not have background noise. 1 baris a quiet place I would feel comfortable taking an important call. 3 bars I would stick to less important meetings or none at all.

Side Pony (Sloan’s Lake/West Colfax)

Side Pony is a coffee shop + cocktail bar. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the chairs & couches are comfy for hours of work. There are several outlets built into the booth and bar. Side Pony is also home to my favorite coffee drink in Denver: Iced Protein Latte w/ Oatmilk. You will not regret trying it!

Full Tank Food Park (Sloan’s Lake/West Colfax)

This old tire shop turned coffee shop/food truck park is a great place to spend a few hours working. They have a large outside patio where different food trucks will pull up each day. Inside they have comfy couches, chairs, and tables to work at. Moonflower Coffee is inside the building where you can get the Ube Latte. I highly recommend trying this unique purple drink. This is a very chill quiet place. The main noise is from Colfax road.

Improper City (RINO)

Improper City is one of my favorite places to work. There are so many places to sit for work inside or out. They also have a sound proof glass room where you can take calls from, large outlets that hang from the celling at tables, and options to stand or sit at tables or couches. They typically have food trucks outside if you get hungry. You can also start with coffee then turn it into a cocktail or beer later in the day!

Edgewater Public Market (Edgewater)

Edgewater Market Place is great for many things. They have a dozen food vendors, a bar, a brewery, shops, and activities like Axe throwing and VR. It also is a great place to work! Since it is so big there are many places to tuck away. My favorite place to work is at Rogers Liquid Oasis Bar.

Denver Beer Co (Platte Street)

During the day DBC is very chill and quiet. This would be a great place when you have minimal calls. After 3 pm it gets busy and echoey with workers coming for happy hour. Dogs can be inside or outside since they do not serve food. They have a food truck most days. I highly recommend ordering a “Freaky Princess” which is a secret menu order (Half Princess Yum Yum Kölsch and Half Big Juicy Freak IPA)

Odell Brewery (Sloan’s Lake or Five Points)

I personally like the Sloan’s Lake location better because of the views and food. It also has a great dog-friendly rooftop. During the weekday both locations are very chill and have comfortable places to set up and work while enjoying some great beer! 100% grabbing pizza during lunchtime from the Sloan’s location. You will not regret it!

Hello Darling (Downtown)

This place has the cutest decor and is a coffee shop + cocktail bar. It is in downtown Denver so parking can be hard, but it is close to the RTD train! They are dog-friendly and everyone there during the week is most likely working remotely!
